Work continues at Newcastle Refinery.
The Crude heater that was the source of the incident has now been safely removed from the process area. This activity was noticeable due to the multiple cranes that were engaged in the operation. The removal of the crude heater now gives our crews access to begin the rebuilding of the second heater. This second heater will be used to achieve the partial restarting of the refinery scheduled for mid-April. Meanwhile, the fabrication of a new crude heater remains on schedule to return to full production by the end of May.
Our marketing department staff continue to provide needed fuels to our valuable customers. Some of this includes trucking products from our Billings Montana refinery.
We appreciate the ongoing support and interest from the Newcastle community. Your support is invaluable.
